All will be alright. Stage 5

Time goes by... And Katyusha is also growing so fast. 4 difficult years are behind: grueling trips to the professional physicians, regular courses of integrated massage and physical therapy, the systematic use of the pool, hippotherapy, acupuncture sessions with a psychologist and a speech therapist, a variety of medications, as well as ongoing rehabilitation. But most of the positive changes we observe after each rehabilitation course in the Dr. Koziavkin's Clinic, which Katia's visited three years in a row. Now she requires the last course of treatment in Dr. Koziavkin's clinic this year.

It is with this institution we are linking the two simplest and most precious to us words – "beginning" and "the first time". Katya started to hold her head, keep her back and rely on the hands in the prone position, became interested in toys, for the first time self-rolled from the back to the stomach and back, confidently raised her little head and shoulders and learned to keep them for much longer while lying on her back...

Now Katya is trying to sit without the help from an adult, there are more and more shouts and in general the girl is very active, very fidgety and emotional. With the help from her parents she gladly steps with her feet, likes to climb up the stairs, cheerfully swims in the open pool. Katya is a hardworking girl and she confirms it daily.

"We know that there is a long a hard way to full healing. Our main goal is to help our only daughter Katyunia. However, it is a great pity that parents desires are not always the same as their possibilities", - Katia's mother explains.

"The vital course of rehabilitation nowadays costs 7 890 UAH and that is not counting the travel, food and accommodation expenses. That amount is way too large for us. Therefore, we again and again ask all of those who care for the financial aid. Each hryvnia is precious for us.
