Vsevolod became ill at an unconscious age, and he does not remember his life before the disease. As he sees it today, he always received up to ten insulin shots and the same number of finger pricks every day. It was hard for his mother to hear and find the words to answer the kid's questions, “When will I be cured? When will my diabetes go away?”. After all, this insidious disease is lifelong and currently incurable. But the mother had to change her lifestyle, learn how to calculate carbohydrates and calories in food, measure blood sugar at the right points, keep a control diary, select insulin doses and monitor her son's health. Each loss of control can lead to hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia, which is another blow to the child's body, which can even lead to coma. All this further leads to complications and loss of health.

Vsevolod also has a twin sister, who, of course, is the subject of much concern and control. The sister is always by her brother's side and knows what to do if Vsevolod is not feeling well. The children go to school, play sports and want to live their only childhood to the fullest.

In the 21st century, all civilized humanity uses the latest technology to reduce the risks of blood sugar fluctuations in insulin-dependent people. Modern sensors monitor blood sugar around the clock and inject the required amount of insulin. But all these are expensive items that are unaffordable for many Ukrainian families. Unfortunately, the state does not provide sick children with this equipment. The children will be able to be useful for Ukraine in the future, but now they need attention and help. The mother cannot cope with the financial burden of Vsevolod's care and treatment on her own and asks for help from those who care.
