19-year-old Vika needs funds for a new rehabilitation course – to continue gaining new skills and preserving the progress she has already achieved.
Viktoriia has been living with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, and Dandy-Walker syndrome since birth. She still does not speak, can stand at a support for short periods, and walks only with full assistance. On top of everything, war came into her life: she had to leave her home city of Pokrovsk after their house was destroyed. Vika and her mother now live in the Kyiv region – and despite everything, they continue to fight.
Viktoriia puts in a great deal of effort: she attends rehabilitation centers, works at home, and follows all of her doctors' recommendations. And it is paying off. After her most recent rehabilitation course – which took place thanks to your support, dear donors – Vika's muscle tone decreased and she became more relaxed. Progress in her development is also visible: she is now pronouncing new sounds and syllables, and her understanding of spoken language has improved. Vika puts in every effort to keep moving forward and not stand still. Step by step – but always forward.
Vika is now awaited at rehabilitation again. She very much wants to run – and together we can bring that moment closer. Please support her!
