Food for the children from the shelter. October 2018

When we hear tearful stories about orphans or homeless children, then we will give up, sympathize, and run further on our business. After all, each of us has his own life and his own heap of cares. Few people know that in Kiev there is a place where such children are shown participation not only emotionally, but also effectively. For 11 years now the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation "Home of Happy Children", which exists exclusively on the money of not indifferent people. Now the children need food, and we ask you for help!

61 UAH costs one day of food for the ward of the shelter. 61 UAH is a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner for one of the kids, who were not allowed to live with mom and dad. For three years philanthropists of the UBB have been feeding children from the orphanage City of Happy Children, collecting every month the means to provide food for the children. And it's so beautiful! After all, without indifferent people, who do not care about the future of our children, we would not have done it!

The Children's Center is sheltered by children who have been left out of life. Their parents are either mentally ill or addicted to alcohol or drugs. Instead of the child's "pink" childhood, the students of the Center faced with the fact that not every adult can survive. In their small lives, there was violence, beatings, bullying, hunger. One babe spent 2 days in an apartment with the body of a dead mother.

The Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation "Home of Happy Children" is saved by children's souls in a literal sense, helps them to get stronger, to believe in adults again and return smiles to their faces. This unique organization is not municipal and exists exclusively at the expense of kind people. Everything – from a piece of bread and toilet paper to salaries to psychologists and educators - is sponsored by indifferent citizens and businesses.

For its part, the Center provides children with professional psychological help and establishes a normal life process after the experience. Children study in regular schools, returning to the Center as home. This happens until social services find them decent families and carry out the bureaucratic process of adoption. In total, the Center has 35 children. Every child always finds new parents. Only this month was adopted by 5 children.

Help us provide the kids with food in October, and your good will come back a hundredfold! After all, thanks to the Center and the correct approach to the treatment of childhood injuries, we believe that we will be able to raise a future worthy generation!
