He is only five years old. He smiles when he hears a familiar voice. He loves listening to fairy tales, playing with blocks, and watching birds. But he has yet to take his first step.
Nazarchyk is a kind, sensitive, and remarkably open-hearted boy. His childhood is unlike that of most children. Instead of the joyful noise of a kindergarten, there is the quiet of rehabilitation rooms. Instead of active games, there is daily work on simple but essential skills.
The joy of parenthood was overshadowed by a difficult diagnosis - cerebral palsy, tetraparetic form. This means that nearly all of the boy's limbs are affected: his movements are limited, and his body does not respond the way it should. Nazar has developmental delays in both physical and speech functions and lives with axial hypotonia. And yet, he has an extraordinary desire to live, to grow, to learn, and to enjoy life as any child should.
Every rehabilitation course is a step toward a new version of Nazar. After each round of treatment, he is better able to hold his head, interacts more actively, and becomes more confident in his movements. This progress is visible and deeply encouraging. However, sustained and structured professional support is essential for continued improvement.
The family lives very modestly and has long since exhausted all available resources. They are not asking for the impossible - only for support. And they are reaching out not to strangers, but to those who may become part of something meaningful: helping a little boy take his very first steps.
We are all living through challenging times. But by supporting Nazarchyk, we are not just helping one child - we are helping the future grow stronger. Because a child who learns to walk will one day be able to run - toward dreams. Toward life.
Let us help Nazar access his next course of rehabilitation. May this journey become a little easier for him - thanks to kind and caring hearts.
