10-years-old Oleg Kazmiruk does not go out for the last six months, does not contact the outside world and lives thanks to blood transfusions. With his diagnosis, his own bone marrow does not work, and transfused leukocytes, platelets, and erythrocytes cope all the worse and soon will cease to help at all – this is called myelodysplastic syndrome...

Oleg can be saved and the price of his life is 111 771 euros. That's the price of bone marrow transplantation (BMT) that is necessary for him, as there is no related donor for a boy, and unrelated BMT in Ukraine is not performed. He is expected in the University Clinic of Bydgoszcz in Poland, and although BMT is needed urgently, all funds must be gathered first.

Since December, Oleg in the hospital, he was not allowed to go home, he can not walk outside, his immunity is practically absent. Do you know what kind of dream Oleg has? To go out and just run with friends! But the absence of leukocytes makes it vulnerable to any infections – so the fungal infection caused terrible ulcers on the oral mucosa, and almost caused necrosis on the lips and face... Without platelets, Olezhka got into intensive care with a bleeding that nearly cost him his life. And the absence of red blood cells and hemoglobin makes the boy so weak that doctors just do not allow him to walk along the street, not speaking about a run.

Oleg has 1 month left – the end of September (the beginning of October) is the deadline for transplantation. And before that time, you need to find, collect, get by all means almost 2 million UAH – that is remaining costs to have 111 771 euros. Ahead of Olezhka is a long journey of life, which will begin right after the hospital ward, of course, if only we manage to snatch it from the paws of the disease! Modern medicine is capable of this! But the miracle has a price. And for Oleg, this is the cost of the bill for his salvation.
