"Saturation, the level of oxygen in the blood, is 83, and it is ok as long as it remains like that. If it drops to 70, we will go to breathe in the resuscitation department," Ania’s mother briefly explains the situation to us. In my mind’s eye, I see them sitting side by side – mother and red-headed translucent Ania – and they make a decision again and again: is it still possible to endure now or not? Panting, but at home, or breathing freely, but on a hospital bed in the resuscitation department? Beautiful Ania has congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension. Recently, the condition began to deteriorate sharply and they had to collect documents in order to stand in line for transplantation. But you need to live before this event. Breathe.

Ania’s problem is with her since her birth, and yet the girl went to school, tried to live like everyone else. She played, grew up, became fascinated by the computer world and decided that she wanted to become a designer of computer games – in that adult life, which still needed to be striven for. Now Anya is 19 and her main task is to take care of herself and fly to India in her best condition. Then the girl will need the luck to have the donor lungs and heart suitable for her, to successfully undergo transplantation and engraftment of new organs... The stronger Anya is, the more chances she has.

And while Ania's own lungs cannot work as they should, she needs the help of an oxygen concentrator – this is an apparatus that directly filters almost pure oxygen from the surrounding air and supplies it to a person’s nose. With it, Anya will not have to suffocate. And you can safely live at home without taking the painful decision: to live at home painting or breathing but in the hospital?
