Yesenia was born in 2014 as a healthy, sweet girl. Despite her premature birth and low weight of 2,500 grams, her life was not in danger. But a month later, she suffered from encephalitis. Then – a new blow of fate: the death of her mother. Since then, her world has been based on two people – her father and grandmother, who are fighting with all their might for her life and development.

Today, Yesenia is 10 years old. Her diagnoses are scoliosis, partial optic atrophy, and dislocation of the right hip joint (already operated on). She has undergone many rehabilitations, courses and treatments. And it worked! Before, she could not hold her head, turn over, sit, or speak. And now she is turning over, sleeping better, crying less from pain, and her spasticity has decreased. But the war... it brought a regression in her condition. Especially since the girl lives in Kryvyi Rih, which is constantly shelled. Now, more than ever, Yesenia needs rehabilitation in order not to lose the progress she has been fighting for all her life. The family is doing everything possible, but financially they are exhausted.
