Zaporizhia. Military hospital, hold on!

According to the head of the Zaporizhia military hospital, that a real war had begun, they learned when, after the bombing of one of the military units in Zaporizhia, the wounded began to be delivered to the hospital: about thirty, including those injured in the Kherson region. They immediately began to rebuild, because by the time the full-scale invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine began, the hospital had only 100 beds. Civil medicine and volunteers came to the rescue. Over time, there were so many wounded that the hospital began to restore the old building, which had been empty for many years.

For a joint victory over Russian fascism, medical specialists from other regions of the country came to work at the Zaporizhia military hospital. Some of the doctors, by the way, live here, because patients are often brought in at night. Today, the medical institution has become a base for operations and advanced training of surgeons. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Zaporizhia military hospital has already received more than 2,000 wounded servicemen.

For quick recovery after severe injuries, Ukrainian soldiers are provided with a wide range of medical care. And almost every second patient needs dental care. Charitable Foundation "Happy Child" previously responded and helped the hospital in purchasing equipment and tools for the dentistry office. But there remains an important need for a portable x-ray machine and visiograph. Specialists see about 20 patients daily. Difficult cases in treatment require additional examination. If you have the necessary device, you can quickly conduct a qualitative study and decide on treatment tactics without transporting the patient to special rooms.

The total cost of the device and the sensor that converts X-rays into a digital image is 126,720 UAH.
