Hygiene products for lonely elderly. 4

Palliative patients, old people with physical limitations, are in dire need of hygiene products: diapers, etc. Since the beginning of the war, the prices of these goods have risen significantly. An adult bedridden needs several packs of diapers per month. Today, the cost of one package is 500 UAH. This is very expensive for elderly who survive on small pensions and do not have the support of children and relatives.

The "Palliative Care" and "Home Care" projects have been operating in Kharkiv for more than 10 years. Since the beginning of the war, projects have not stopped, social workers have helped beneficiaries, and support has been provided with food and sanitary goods. Unfortunately, we do not have a large budget for the purchase of hygiene products, and the need for them among the beneficiaries is very large and acute.

Today we are launching a fundraiser to buy 40 packs of diapers for the elderly who are bedridden. For them, this is an opportunity to live a better life while maintaining self-esteem. The amount of the fee is 20,000 UAH. We call on everyone who is not indifferent to the fate of lonely old people who are left alone with their illnesses, loneliness, helplessness, to support this project, make a charitable donation and tell your friends about it. After all, together we can do a lot of good and important things!
