When the birth-giving is pretermitted is vital to ensure the nursing conditions that are close to the intrauterine. This is called the "growth-oriented nursing" and it is of particular importance for the physiological postnatal development of the preterm born child. In the mother's womb it is warm, dark and quiet, also the baby there is in the natural physiological position. In the modern medicine mother's warmth can be substituted by the special layings and positioners, which are the important elements of the non-invasive therapy and help with the nursing of the preterm born children. So-called nests and the laying pillows are irreplaceable in the long nursing of a child.

They possess unique qualities of the thermoregulation and warmth keeping, ensure the additional comfort and the correct body position and, along with the above, the correct blood circulation. After the preterm birth, the baby is nursed in the incubator, which keeps the necessary temperature around the baby, thus providing warmth.

For keeping the silence and darkness, special incubator covers are used. These covers cut the negatively effecting noises from the outside and protect the incubator from the bright light. This reduces the risk of acoustic trauma, especially for children of less than 32 weeks of gestation, forms the asleep-awaken biorhythm, reduces stress and long-term neurological effects.

Ensuring the baby's correct physiological body position, this is called the physiological positioning, special nests and rollers are used. Due to this the baby stays in the flexor pose, close to physiological, which ensures the harmonious development of the bone and nervous systems of the prematurely born child, reduces stress and positively affects the further neuro-psychological and psycho-social development of a child. These simple things are of particular importance! This creates a positive emotional background of the child. Absence of stress and negative feelings consequently normalizes the breath frequency, reduces the need in additional oxygen and apnea episodes, ensures the stable body temperature of the child, improves the beginning of the breastfeeding, reduces the risk of long term neurological disorders, reduces the time of staying in the hospital after all.
