In the minds of most people, the birth of a child is a period filled with warm embraces, tenderness and care from the mother. But sometimes it happens that childbirth occurs ahead of schedule, thus bringing a lot of stress, fear and anxiety to the family's life. Instead of maternal warmth, a premature or profoundly premature baby is forced to stay inside an incubator.

There, the vital activity of the tiny creature is controlled by numerous sensors and special devices. To ensure maximum comfort, warmth, and peace of mind for the child during this difficult period, specially designed positioners, stackers, nests that significantly improve the nursing process, and equipment covers that protect the baby from bright light and noise are needed. The goal of this project is to provide comfort and warmth to the little patients of the Podil City Hospital in Odesa region*.

All positioners have unique properties of thermoregulation and heat retention, provide additional comfort and correct body position, and at the same time, proper blood circulation in the baby.

Currently, specialized places for nursing newborns in hospitals are equipped with diapers and rolled towels, which are often made by parents or medical staff themselves. We strive to improve the conditions of the neonatal care unit in the Odesa region, because the health of our children is the health of our nation and our future.

Products for positioning newborns were developed together with leading neonatologists of Ukraine, taking into account all the features of children born before term. The use of "nests", special pads and pads helps to reduce psychomotor arousal, normalize respiratory and digestive functions, and helps to avoid negative effects on brain circulation, skull deformities and severe motor disorders. With the help of positioning devices, the child can "feel" his arms and legs, make less effort to move, so the rehabilitation period for newborns takes less time. Darkening the resuscitation tables and incubators with protective covers and curtains helps to recreate the atmosphere that the child had when he or she was in the womb. This nursing practice is not new, but borrowed from the leading perinatal practices in Europe.

Neonatologists and parents whose babies were born prematurely leave only positive feedback after using these products. Your help and support for this project means a sense of security and comfort for every premature baby during his or her nursing and recovery.
