Since 2023, the ‘Paprika’ studio has been operating at the ‘Ioannov Centre’ rehabilitation facility. For many children with disabilities and children from other groups – such as those with internally displaced person (IDP) status, from large families, and so on – this is their only opportunity to socialise, learn new skills together and enjoy the results.
In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the Charitable Organisation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ and the charitable aid operator ‘Pomagayem’ dated 31 August 2020, and Supplementary Agreement No. 21. No. 357 of 17 March 2026, the project ‘Let’s Preserve a Children’s Space of Equality and Inclusion’ was launched on the website dobro.ua with the aim of raising charitable donations to cover the cost of organising 60 masterclasses, which 360 children will be able to attend.
During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ – dobro.ua – to pay for some of the workshops at the ‘Paprika’ studio. Therefore, in accordance with letter No. 199 dated 13 May 2026, we received the raised sum of 20,238.00 UAH (twenty thousand two hundred and thirty-eight hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the Fund’s account and continued the fundraising campaign on the dobro.ua platform.
Thanks to the funds received, in May 2026 we paid for four masterclasses – ‘Delicious Confectionery’, ‘Mosaic’ and ‘Golden Ears’ – totalling 14,465.00 UAH (fourteen thousand four hundred and sixty-five hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
Parents and children are sincerely grateful for these informative and engaging sessions.

Ms Lyudmila, Svyatoslav’s mum, writes: “We’ve attended lots of workshops at the centre: ‘Golden Ears’, ‘Delicious Patisserie’ and others. Our Svyatoslav is 15 years old; he has a disability, hearing problems and doesn’t speak, but every time he’s raring to go to these sessions with great enthusiasm. They inspire him, and he dreams of coming back here again and again. He liked the ‘Delicious Patisserie’ workshop best of all, as there’s simply nothing else like these sessions for children with special needs. Every day he attended the sessions with great enthusiasm — both at the centre and at the masterclasses. There are no other culinary classes like these anywhere else; every dish prepared here is unique.       The children learn to overcome their fears, get used to life, and their eyes light up with the desire to try something new. Thank you so much, we bow to you in gratitude!”
Kristina, Roman’s mum: “We attended the ‘Delicious Patisserie’ and ‘Mosaic’ masterclasses. Romchik is absolutely thrilled! He’s eight years old and has autism, so it’s very important to me that he feels comfortable and engaged. He enjoyed cooking, listened attentively and was completely absorbed in the process. Now he often watches his videos from the workshops. What I liked most was that he did everything himself and was very proud of the results. It was lovely to see him so happy and engaged. The atmosphere was friendly; nobody was in a rush, and the children were treated with warmth and care. Thanks to people and events like this, children are left with fond memories and a desire to try something new.  ‘Thank you for the positive emotions, the good atmosphere and a wonderful time!’
Ms Marina, Nika’s mum: “We attended the ‘Delicious Patisserie’, ‘Golden Ears’ and ‘Mosaic’ workshops. My child enthusiastically took part in baking delicious treats, making crafts from straw and knitting hats from yarn. My child thoroughly enjoyed taking part in these activities, as they help develop concentration, thinking skills, patience and fine motor skills. A huge thank you for organising such sessions, where specialists help children learn everything for themselves.”
We plan to use the remaining funds of 5,773.00 UAH (five thousand seven hundred and seventy-three hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to pay for masterclasses in 2026; the project is still raising funds.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the donors and partners at dobro.ua for their help and support!
