Save the health of the future inventor

      The disease entered Vanya’s life when he was 4 years old. The boy began to lose weight rapidly and developed irritability, weakness, and thirst. He was admitted to the hospital with a glucose level of 16 mmol/L—three times higher than normal. Ivan is now 12 years old, and one day he is sure to make a significant contribution to the development of IT. For now, however, we must protect his health.
      In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the International Charitable Foundation “Ukrainian Charity Exchange” and the charitable aid operator, the Charitable Foundation “POMAGAEM,” dated August 31, 2020, and Supplementary Agreement No. 21. No. 319 dated June 9, 2025, the project “Let’s Preserve the Health of a Future Inventor” was launched on the website dobro.ua with the aim of raising donations to cover Ivan Mukha’s medical treatment.
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use a portion of the funds raised on the website of the Charitable Organization “Ukrainian Charity Exchange” (dobro.ua) to purchase some of the sensors for the boy. Therefore, in accordance with letters No. 405 dated September 17, 2025, and No. 63 dated February 5, 2026, we received 10,740.00 UAH (ten thousand seven hundred forty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) and 5,767.00 UAH (five thousand seven hundred sixty-seven hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the Fund’s account and continued the fundraising campaign on the dobro.ua platform. We received an additional 11,415.00 UAH (eleven thousand four hundred fifteen hryvnias, 00 kopecks) as per letter No. 191 dated May 7, 2026. 
      In the summer of 2025, we purchased Freestyle Libre 2 sensors for Ivan in the amount of 10,740.00 UAH (ten thousand seven hundred forty hryvnias, 00 kopecks). 
      The initial fundraising goal was 56,322.00 UAH (fifty-six thousand three hundred twenty-two hryvnias, 00 kopecks). Once the full amount needed to pay for Ivan’s sensors had been raised on two fundraising platforms—the Ukrainian Charity Exchange (UCE) and the Pomagayem Charitable Foundation—we requested that the fundraiser be closed and that the project’s target amount on the UCE be reduced to the actual amount raised: 27,922.00 UAH (twenty-seven thousand nine hundred twenty-two hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to cover Ivan’s treatment and project administration, in accordance with Letter No. 201 dated May 14, 2026.
      This year, we also provided the young man with urgently needed supplies for continuous blood sugar monitoring. In February 2026, we provided Ivan with Freestyle Libre 2 sensors totaling 5,767.00 UAH (five thousand seven hundred sixty-seven hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and in May—sensors worth 10,018.90 UAH (ten thousand eighteen hryvnias, 90 kopecks); we also covered the project’s administrative costs.
      His mother is sincerely grateful to everyone who helped purchase the sensors for her beloved son Ivan. These devices not only bring joy but also ensure a peaceful life for a long time to come. With prices constantly rising for all goods, it’s hard to figure out where to cut back in order to make sure we can buy the sensors for our child, since this is a top priority for the whole family. After 9 years of living with diabetes, daily monitoring, and constant use of sensors, the results of his latest checkup are truly encouraging. Considering how long he’s been battling this illness, Ivan’s vital signs are normal and he hasn’t experienced any serious complications.
      His mother writes to us: “Without the sensors, it would have been incredibly difficult. My faith in the kindness of this world and in good people will never fade as long as you—our kind magicians—are here.”
Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the boy’s needs.
