In two years of remission Maksym began to forget about the disease, returned to the normal child’s life in which there were games with peers and no injections and pain. Unfortunately, the disease manifested itself again… Again the boy was separated from his brother, again instead of school he had to go to the doctor.

The best experts in the field of treatment of brain tumors prescribed the protocol that included metronomic chemotherapy and the targeted drug Avastin. Maksym completed the first cycle thanks to the money raised on UBB (link). The control examination indicated the effectiveness of the drug. That’s why Maksym has to continue the therapy but this medication is not available and the family cannot afford to buy it. And the treatment cannot wait as every delay means that the child’s condition gets worse.

Let’s help Maksym get back to his childhood again!
