To overcome cerebral palsy

Valeriy has been suffering from the hyperkinetic form of infantile cerebral palsy. This form is one of the worst as responds to treatment very slowly. Hyperkinesis is uncontrollable muscle movements which are constantly forcing a child to move in different directions. Due to the incredible efforts of Valeriy's family there is some positive news - the disease is responding to treatment and the boy's condition is slowly improving. At the end of February Valera should visit Koziavkin's Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets.

At birth Valeriy was perfectly healthy child, however due to the of the negligence of a doctor who ignored high bilirubin, which in four days had reached a critical maximum of 420 units the boy experienced strong paroxysms and intracerebral hemorrhage. During all Valeriy's life his loving parents have constantly struggled with his disability. Their care, love, and faith never let them give up.

Now Valera is in the second grade of a regular school. Thanks Heaven the child's intelligence is saved. Valeriy is good at mathematics but he can not write as his hands do not obey him. The schoolboy is carried to school on hands because he cannot walk. In the school cafeteria Valera is spoon-fed. 8 years the boy is repeatedly undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at various clinics and cities. He had two operations on Ulzibat method. Now the family is unable to pay for the treatment and has to refer for help to all the people concerned.
