The purpose of the project was to raise funds for the treatment of Kateryna Opanasyuk. The girl is a patient of the neurosurgery department of the hospital "OKHMATDYT". The girl was diagnosed with craniosynostosis. Because of this, the skull does not grow correctly, and without urgent surgery, complications will begin: severe headaches, vision problems, developmental delay. It was necessary to act as soon as possible, because delay can lead to irreversible consequences, the cost of the surgery is 164,742 UAH.
Thanks to the funds raised, the child received the necessary treatment, the surgery was performed in June. After the fundraising and implementation, there was a short pause due to Kateryna's somatic diseases, the girl had pneumonia and therefore the surgery was postponed.
The necessary materials for the surgery were received under form No. 0022 dated 03/31/2025
