Healthy legs for Veronika

We truly believed that everything would work out and our Veronika would go to Slovakia for rehabilitation in spring, but but fate decreed otherwise. After an unscheduled MRI doctors found the decrease in the range of motion in the lower limbs and fixation of the spinal cord. In other words, the reverse countdown of time started for Veronichka, and if without an urgent surgery she can may forever remain confined to a wheelchair. Please help this bright child not to remain disabled for life!

Veronica is like a little dandelion. She is a bright child. Back in my mother's tummy a cerebrospinal hernia was identified. Problems started with that. Veronica was a very desired baby, she was born on the fifth pregnancy, cesarean section, weighing 3040 grams. She is six years old now and she has a chronic pyelonephritis. She underwent a surgery for kidney stones to be removed from the bladder. The girl still can not walk. She underwent an intensive neuro-physical rehabilitation is different rehabilitation centers, after which improvements are observed. After the rehabilitation courses the girl started to feel one leg and she feels the other leg till the knee.

And these achievements don't have to stay in the past! Veronika's mother is ready to fight for her child's health, but she cannot make it without your help. We have found a clinic in Turkey with one of the best pediatric neurosurgery, they agreed to help our kid.

Unfortunately, at the birth the hernia began to leak, the liquorrhea appeared and the baby needed an emergency surgery. As a result of postoperative complications there developed a hydrocephalus, the progression of which, fortunately, has been stopped. Veronica suffered another 3 operations for the reconstruction of bilateral dysplasia. But that was not the end. Now her family is fighting for baby's legs. Veronika must start to walk no matter what, she is a beautiful baby and stroller should not become invalid. Veronika is a very smart baby, she loves to play piano, loves to read and has a great progress in learning English. The girl has already started to crawl.
