Woman-doctor needs help with cancer treatment. 3

Olha Yuriivna is a neuropathologist, devoted her entire life to the treatment of patients with various  neurological diseases, as well as teaching in this specialty. Three years ago, this woman was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with metastases. Olha
Yuriivna was identified as a disabled person of the 2nd group. 

In  2019-2020 the woman underwent 6 courses of chemotherapy at the Kharkiv Regional Oncology Center. But already in April 2020 complications arose that prevented him from continuing chemotherapy. In connection with the progression of the disease, pain in the spine appeared. In August last year, Olha Yuriivna was operated on in Kiev. Removal of the tumor was successful and the council of oncologists prescribed her monthly treatment with Ibrans and Femara, as the only possible treatment in her case.

Olha Yuriivna is undergoing the 10th course of treatment with these drugs, which completely depleted her family's financial condition. 
 However, at the end of last year, on computed tomography, doctors discovered the appearance of new bone metastases, and Olha developed pains in her shoulder and leg. As  result, Xgeva 120 mg was additionally prescribed subcutaneously, which helps to reduce 
metastases and stabilize the process. Thanks to this therapy, there has been a slight positive dynamics of the disease. 

We have repeatedly published requests for help to Olha Yuriivna. The woman is sincerely grateful to all donors dobro.ua  who helped in purchasing these vital drugs. In March 2021 the next computed tomography showed the stabilization in the size of the existing metastases in the lungs and pleura, and the metastases in the bones did not increase. When repeating computed tomography in June 2021 X-ray stabilization of the condition is noted. The doctors and the patient note that the drugs are helping, and Olgh Yuriivna hopes for a long-term  remission while taking the drugs. But these medications still need to be taken for many months. Unfortunately, Olha's family finds it very difficult financially to purchase medicines for such a long period. 

Life goes on and 2 months ago Olha Yuriivna's daughter took a puppy from the shelter. Although it is difficult with him, he now gives his new owners his love and positive emotions, which also helps to recover. 

A woman doctor, who herself has found herself among difficult patients, asks for help in her fight against the disease and for a chance to recover and the opportunity to help other people with her knowledge and experience in the future.
