Vanya Isaev is a man of infinitely cheerful and sociable. The 8-year-old boy eagerly absorbs knowledge: he is especially interested in robotics and entomology. This was not so at all 3 years ago: every morning began with bitter tears. 8 injections per day were given to Van so that he received vital insulin. Now the pump ensures the boy from constant injections and jumps in glucose. In order for Vanya to remain as cheerful, every month you need 8,400 UAH for supplies. Vanya was 5 years old when the doctors made a terrible diagnosis: diabetes. The most difficult question for the mother of a sick child is: "Why exactly is my son?". It is impossible to answer him, it was necessary to take a given and adapt to a new life.

It was a long and difficult journey. At first, it turned out that in addition to diabetes, Vanya has an intolerance to 13 types of products – and they were added to the list of prohibited foods. Then it became clear that Actrapid and Protafan – the insulin prescribed by the doctors, were not suitable for him. Blood sugar rose at night – and the morning began with weakness, vomiting, and bitter tears: every day the baby had to do up to 8 injections.

Parents found a way out of the situation: they managed to buy Vanya an insulin pump – a device that essentially replaces the work of the pancreas. He constantly, even at night, monitors the level of glucose in the blood and introduces the required dose of insulin through a catheter. They bought a pump – the number of punctures decreased to 3 in 3 days and the boy’s condition improved!

With fanfare, Vanya feels great, runs, studies and plays like an ordinary boy. Only here is the school, to which Vanya belongs at the place of residence, refused to "take responsibility" – that is, they simply do not want to see the boy at school. It is necessary to be limited to individual training. But buying a pump and insulin is far from all financial expenses. You need to constantly pay for supplies for her. We open a fee for 77,000 UAH: 65,000 UAH are Freestyle Libre sensors, and 12,000 UAH are tanks. 77 000 UAH – this is only the partial price of a year of life for a child with diabetes.

Let's help the boy live this year without worries!
