Vika was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of three. Despite this, Vika is a very active girl. She enjoys modern dance, soccer, and drawing, and loves walking outdoors. She is almost never still – always on the move, always smiling. She just wants to feel like all children – to live without fear for her sugar levels, to run, dance, laugh, and not think about her illness.

But every day she lives with constant vigilance – every meal, every walk, even a normal game requires attention. The girl really needs continuous glucose monitoring sensors. They help her see her sugar levels around the clock and avoid dangerous spikes.

Her father is the sole breadwinner for the family, so Vika cannot have the sensors all the time – they are too expensive. Any support for her is a great help and a chance for a safe, peaceful childhood.
