There is a dwelling but there is no life

Mykola and Yulia grew up without parents. They loved each other and got married. Recently a daughter was born unto them and the Local Council even allocated a flat to the young family. It is however impossible to live there: there are no floor, windows, batteries … The couple is requesting Ukraine to support them: please help raise funds for the renovation! Unfortunately, the young family with a baby on hand won’t cope on its own.

There is the Oberig city social hostel in Gorlivka, where the orphans Mykola and Yulia have been living for 5 years. In March 2012 Mykola and Yulia got married to make a happy family. It is the first couple who “was born” in Oberig. This year Mykola and Yulia Bereziuks obtained a long-awaited flat. But when the newlyweds crossed the threshold of the dwelling, they were sadly disappointed and despaired. The flat was in a terrible and desolate condition: there was no floor in the kitchen and bathroom, neither there were heating facilities, the windows and door did not close...

The allocated flat is on the ground floor and is required a complete renovation. The young family has been trying to renovate the flat for as long as a year together with their friends and dwellers of the social hostel but for lack of money to finish the renovation is impossible.

On 20 February 2012 the daughter Victoria was born in the Bereziuks family. The young parents are very happy to have the baby but they are unable to offer her a comfortable nest. Therefore, Mykola and Yulia turn to everybody for help and will be sincerely thankful for any support for the sake of a happy future of their little daughter. The family has already got some money for construction materials, which will not however suffice for the complete renovation. The dwellers and Oberig stuff will be pleased to help the young couple with renovation works.

Together we will be able to improve the living conditions of young families-orphans and fulfill their dream of a cozy family nest!
