A pain-free life for Dasha

      Sometimes childhood ends very early. At the age of two, Dasha was diagnosed with diabetes. And although the disease divided her life into ‘before’ and ‘after,’ it taught Daria the most important thing – never give up. 
      In accordance with Agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange International Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator POMAGAEM Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and Additional Agreement No. 21. 346 dated 8 January 2026, the project ‘Life without pain for Dasha’ was posted on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange - dobro.ua - with the aim of attracting donations to pay for the treatment of Daria Bezpalaya.
During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use the funds collected on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange (UCE) – dobro.ua – to purchase some of the sensors for the girl. Therefore, according to letter No. 17 dated 14 January 2026, we received the collected amount of 11,540.00 UAH (eleven thousand five hundred and forty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's account and continued the collection on the dobro.ua platform. 
      In January of this year, we purchased Freestyle Libre 2 sensors for Dasha in the amount of 11,540.00 UAH (eleven thousand five hundred and forty hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      The family continues to rent an apartment in the city of Pokrov, where Dasha attends school offline. In terms of health, there are sometimes spikes in sugar levels, but the sensors have greatly simplified diabetes control. Dasha has also started attending dance classes.  
      The biggest challenge for the family right now is to survive the cold winter, as the temperature at home is only 12-13 degrees. They really want to return home, but it is still dangerous in Nikopol.
      Currently, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the girl's needs, and the project is still raising funds.
