Life without immunity: Misha needs medicine. 4

Misha Nikolayenko from Sumy region for his seven years took more antibiotics and other pills than another person in his life. And all because Misha was born with a rare disease that deprived him of any immunity. Any virus or infection "clings" to Misha instantly and is then treated long and hard. What he just did not hurt over the years. Medicaments, injections, droppers, and sometimes operations are constant companions of his childhood, inextricably linked with hospitals. So in October last year, the little boy was again in the children's ward, now with lymphadenitis. Doctors operated on the lymph node. 

Everything went well, but the scar festered for a very long time. What just did treat it. Healed everything only after the New Year. Misha was very happy because he loves to wash, and the inflamed scar could not be wetted with water. Misha was looking forward to the New Year! I’ve been waiting so much that I even learned to read! Grandfather Frost came to visit, praised Mishka and presented gifts: a machine that changes color, kinetic sand and ping pong. Children come to Misha, he is very happy about it. Together they like to have a disco or play knights. The mother no longer reads bedtime stories to him. Misha said that he is already an adult. The other day Misha has a birthday and he is waiting for his beloved character – Bear Valera.

And the endless treatment, meanwhile, is taking its course. The mother is waiting for Misha to be tested for myopathy and very much hopes for good results.
Misha Nikolayenko’s parents usually cope with their son’s treatment. However, the last antifungal drug Orungal prescribed by doctors, which the baby has been taking for six months, is too expensive for this family's modest budget. Now the baby needs 5 bottles of the drug for the amount of 10,145.00 hryvnia. The family has no funds for it. Misha’s parents are sincerely grateful to everyone for their support.
