Daria is an extremely cheerful and talented girl who, despite her serious illness, does not lose her optimism and lust for life. Since childhood, she has been fond of ballroom dancing, which has become not only a hobby but also a source of inspiration that helps her overcome the difficulties of everyday life. Since 2021, Daria has been living with a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. Every day, Daria has to measure her blood glucose levels, take insulin injections, and monitor her health.
Recently, her condition has been unstable. The girl often has sharp fluctuations in her sugar level. High glucose levels cause weakness, headaches and the risk of complications, while low levels are generally life-threatening. Such conditions exhaust the child both physically and emotionally, affecting his or her social activity.
To ensure stable control of her diabetes, Daria needs sensors for continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels. They help to quickly track changes and respond in time to dangerous fluctuations in sugar levels. The constant treatment and monitoring of Dasha's illness deplete the family's budget. The family is unable to cover the significant material costs in full on their own. Any help in purchasing the sensors will significantly improve Daria's health, allowing her to safely practice her favorite dances and live a full life despite her serious illness.
