Life with deafness

Daryna is the daughter of deaf parents, so she was already born with hearing impairment, her diagnosis is "Bilateral chronic sensorineural deafness".

Darinka studies at a specialized school in Chernivtsi together with her younger sister Lisa, to whom we have already given hearing aids. There is a chess club at school, Darina takes part in chess tournaments and various competitions, has many awards, and Lisa follows in Darina's footsteps, so the girls are almost always together. Recently, they won prizes in running competitions.

Daryna is a very active and bright child, she has many plans and dreams for the future, and in order to realize them, the girl really needs hearing aids. Daryna had hearing aids, but they are already 9 years old, and they no longer fit the girl. Daryna does not use devices for a whole year, this has a bad effect on her studies and social life, because the skills acquired in previous years can be lost.

For children with hearing impairment, it is very important to continuously wear high-quality, appropriate hearing aids, because this is the key to development and learning. If the child does not have hearing aids, it makes it difficult for him to communicate with the world around him, the person develops fear and can close himself off from the world.
