11-year-old Nazar is a cheerful, happy child. He is an obedient, intelligent boy who achieves significant success in his studies. Until the age of 10, he was a normal, healthy child. However, in March, his world was turned upside down by a terrible diagnosis – type 1 diabetes.
The disease requires daily insulin injections, constant monitoring of blood sugar levels, and strict adherence to a diet. Nazar is a very active boy, has many friends, loves to play soccer, ride a bike, and swim, helps his mother with household chores, and is interested in cooking. Life goes on with the disease, but Nazarchik needs to strictly adhere to his treatment and diet. He needs to constantly measure his blood sugar levels – he does not always feel fluctuations in glucose levels, which is dangerous to his health.
Therefore, his greatest need is sensors for continuous glucose monitoring. They help prevent complications and make life with diabetes safer.
Nazar's mother is raising him alone. His father is not involved in his life, and all the cares and expenses fall solely on her shoulders. Unfortunately, she cannot provide her son with everything he needs for treatment on her own. Your support will give Nazar the opportunity to control his disease without constant pain, stay healthy, and enjoy a happy childhood.
