Life goes on!

This story began three years ago, when Nikita Zuenko had a severe stomach ache. The reason was found quickly: in the abdominal cavity there was a tumor the size of a large orange. Within a week, Nikita's life changed dramatically. Beloved school, sports section and friends remained outside the door of the hospital ward. A difficult struggle for life was ahead. He had to fight one of the hardest types of cancer – Ewing's sarcoma.

There were six months of chemotherapy, followed by bone marrow autotransplantation. Preparation for it lasted three weeks, and Nikita and his mother dream of forgetting this period of their lives forever. The only things they had then in the sterile box were high temperature, constant vomiting and stomatitis. After the transplantation, twenty sessions of "rays" were waiting for our hero.

A year after the start of treatment, the doctors confirmed that there is a confident result. The tumor has decreased by 80%, and there are no metastases. It is impossible to remove the remnants of the tumor due to the proximity of large vessels. Therefore, it will take several more years to "finish off" the tumor with chemotherapy.

At the beginning of 2021, Nikita went to school again. He dreamed about this event for two whole years! All this time, communication was limited; there were only his relatives and best friend – the dog Luna.

Nikita is tired of being treated, and wants to be an ordinary boy who can go in for sports without restrictions and not get sick all the time because of the reduced immunity after "chemotherapy". The therapy continues, and for the next six months, 48 vials of Etoposide are needed.
