New life

Journey always attracted Bohdan. Even short walks and trips to new places with his parents are like amazing adventure for him. He is interested in space and all those things connected with it since childhood. He sincerely believes that one day he will fly to far - distant space. But now Bogdan urgently needs kidney transplantation. The boy's parents asked you to help them to raise some money for medications that help their child to survive after kidney transplantation surgery.

Now kid can’t even go out even for the hospital territory. Bohdan limited in dealing with children, with the outworld. He isn’t able to run, jump, go to school, he can’t do those basic things that his peers are doing with ease. Because of his illness 7-year-old Bohdan development and appearance is according to 5-years-old child. Last 2 months Bohdan stays in Toxicology department of National Children's Specialized Hospital "Ohmatdyt", because his both kidneys fail. 3 times per week for 5 hours the boy is receive renal replacement therapy – hemodialysis, to clear the blood of harmful substances. Without hemodialysis Bohdan would not survived. But this is only a temporary treatment that maintains his life.In fact hemodialysis makes child’s body weak and depletes it, body does not grow, does not develop.

Bohdan has no other treatment options, other than kidney transplantation from a live donor. And luckily mom is matched to become a donor and saves live to an only son. Only this operation will save Bohdan’s life. Bohdan fights bravely against the disease and he has enough strength to defeat a serious illness. As soon as operation will be provided, he will be able to go to school, he will begin a normal childhood - without hospital beds and drab existence endless treatment.

The boy's parents beg to help in raising funds for expensive medications that help Bohdan survive after kidney transplantation, and will help from kidney rejection. Mom and dad are afraid that their own resources won’t be enough to save their son’s life.
