Rostyslav was born a perfectly healthy child. But the family's happiness was short-lived. At the age of 14 months, he was admitted to the intensive care unit in a coma. There his parents heard the disappointing diagnosis of their boy – type 1 diabetes. Since then, the family's life has been divided into “before” and “after”.
At that time, Rostyk's parents did not know how terrible this diagnosis was and how difficult it was to live with it. Constant punctures of his little fingers 20 times a day, endless insulin injections and food counting. At that time, the existence of sensors in Ukraine was unheard of. But over time, they began to appear, but they were too expensive. The same situation exists today. Unfortunately, the state does not provide these devices for free. Rostik's mother is unable to work full-time, and her husband's income is not enough. The family lives in Mykolaiv, where they rent an apartment.
Rostik is in the third grade. He is a sociable boy and has a lot of friends. He plays soccer and is interested in computer science, but it is difficult for him to withstand heavy physical activity. The boy's mother asks for help with the purchase of sensors.
