Zlata: I want to live without pain. 2

Zlata Shulygina is a 7-year-old girl who suffers from cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, symptomatic epilepsy, pseudobulbar syndrome and psychomotor retardation. Zlata was born half dead. She didn't breathe or scream. Luckily, the little one survived. Subsequently, she suffered a hypoxic-ischemic lesion of the central nervous system, Zlata experienced cerebral edema and cerebral hemorrhage.

So being in hospitals the girl spent the first year of her life. Time passed, Zlata grew up, and then cerebral palsy, developmental delay and epilepsy were added to the rest of the diagnoses. She was often sick, so the treatment was mainly at home, with her mother. So far, the woman herself has not been diagnosed with cancer. After that, it was very important for Zlata to get into a rehabilitation center, and thanks to your support, this became a reality. The girl underwent therapy, attended classes, her condition improved.

Now Zlata and her mother are in Germany – the war forced them to leave their house in Boyarka, Kyiv region. Zlata is a rather emotional girl, she loves to look around and explore a new environment: a new city, new people, a new speech incomprehensible to a girl. They try to deal with the girl as much as possible. Meanwhile, spasticity in her arms and legs grows. She needs rehab.

Zlata and her mother want to return home to Ukraine. And it would be great if the girl had a chance to undergo a new rehabilitation course immediately after her return. She really needs it. Can we help Zlata? She so wants to live without pain!..
