Reduce risks to Svyatoslav's life

        Svyatoslav was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 10. At first, he experienced nausea and weakness, and lost a lot of weight. When his glucose level rose to 11 mmol/l (the normal level is up to 5), it became clear that he had diabetes, just like his father. His family's suspicions were confirmed at the Okhmatdyt National Children's Specialised Hospital. From that moment on, the boy's life changed dramatically.
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the charity operator POMAGAEM Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 331 dated 18 August 2025, the project ‘Reduce the risks to Sviatoslav's life’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting donations to pay for the treatment of Sviatoslav Piskunov.
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds collected on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation (dobro.ua) to purchase some of the sensors for the boy. Therefore, according to letter No. 500 dated 24 September 2025, we received the collected amount of 10,894.00 UAH (ten thousand eight hundred and ninety-four hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's account and continued the collection on the dobro.ua platform. 
      In September of this year, we purchased Freestyle Libre 2 sensors for Sviatoslav for the amount of 10,894.00 UAH (ten thousand eight hundred ninety-four hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      Svyatoslav moved up to 7th grade this year. New subjects have been added to the curriculum, which the child is diligently mastering. However, the boy misses his school, classmates and teachers very much, as due to the current circumstances, classes are held online.

   Sviatoslav's biggest dream is for the war to end as soon as possible, while his mother's dream is for a cure for diabetes to be found, as this diagnosis is very exhausting and takes a lot of energy and time.

   Sviatoslav decided to learn to play the guitar. He is working hard on his new hobby, even though the lessons are also held online. Music has become a source of inspiration and peace for the boy, and he happily immerses himself in the world of melodies.

   Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the young man's needs, and the project is still raising funds.
