To play for the team again

Denys is crazy about football and he worked really hard to become a player of our national team. But now he is exhausted not because of training but because of constant seizures. Denys was diagnosed with a pathology of brain vessels. Now any physical exercises are forbidden for the guy. He needs a surgery with the use of special medical materials and tools.

Thanks to caring people, the implants have been purchased but there is no money to buy micro instruments. The surgery has to be performed immediately because the boy may have a brain hemorrhage any time. In this case, the best consequence would be paralysis and the worst one would be death. The family is in despair and asks for a helping hand.

Everything changed in the last year summer. Going to school Denys lost consciousness and had a seizure similar to an epileptic one. After the MRI he was diagnosed with a congenital arteriovenous malformation. The family went to the Institute of Neurosurgery for a consultation and the doctors recommended a surgery. For it the family has to buy special medical materials for a total of more than 300 000 UAH. While the boy’s father was looking for money for the surgery, his son suffered from seizures once or twice a month. Now seizures happen twice a week, the guy has a constant headache and sometimes nosebleeds. The surgery cannot be postponed any longer because the consequences may be fatal.
