Danyil was four years old when he fell ill with diabetes. At the beginning of the disease, the boy had a common “chicken pox” that seemed to go away without any complications. But after recovery, his mother noticed that the boy was constantly thirsty. The visit to the doctor and the tests were very timely. Danyil was still hospitalized, but not in a critical condition. It was then that the doctors diagnosed him with insulin-dependent diabetes.
At that time, Dania's father was at war. His mother was left alone and practically without support. She and her son went through all the trials, learned how to inject insulin, calculate doses, etc. At the age of 4, Danyil has become an adult and courageous. He is not afraid of injections and does not cry. He is now 6 years old and will go to first grade in the fall.
Danyil has to inject insulin as many times as he eats. But even more often he needs to measure his sugar level, which is 10-12 times a day. Dania's fingers are completely punctured by punctures. The boy really needs continuous monitoring sensors that can be used to measure his sugar level remotely via phone, especially when he is at school and his mother is not around. Sugars are constantly changing, and this is very dangerous for life and health. Danyil is a very cheerful and kind boy who makes friends with everyone: both children and adults. He loves to study road signs and build roads out of wooden railroad tracks. The mother and son try to live in a positive and good mood, but they really need our help and support.
