Dania is a very kind, cheerful, and intelligent boy who loves to play actively and communicate with his peers. At exactly 4 years old, this perfectly healthy boy was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and absolute insulin dependence, which means that Dania's blood sugar levels must be constantly monitored. Without a sensor for continuous blood sugar monitoring, his little fingers need to be pricked 10-15 times a day. It is difficult to forbid a 6-year-old child from eating sweets and tasty treats, which he constantly craves. Even a regular apple raises his blood sugar, not to mention candy or cookies.
Dania loves children and misses them. To socialize with his peers, the boy attends kindergarten. But he only goes to kindergarten for half a day, because every meal is accompanied by insulin injections.
A sensor for continuous monitoring is vital for Dania. It allows him to see his sugar levels on the screen.
Danylo's sugar levels have dropped sharply several times, and now he is afraid of this. In such situations, a child can lose consciousness and fall into a coma. Every six months, Dania is examined at the hospital and undergoes the necessary tests. Unfortunately, diabetes has already had negative consequences.
The family has come to terms with their son's illness and is trying to move on, but they are not ready to give up. Danik's parents are fighting for his health, and they cannot cope without additional help. Please help him with sensors!
