Svitlana Panaiotidi is a former Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, mother of a son and stepmother to three daughters, a philanthropist who has been creating various initiatives to support projects on the dobro.ua platform since 2016 and dedicates her birthdays to charity.

Every year, about 4,000 children with congenital heart disease are born in Ukraine. For many of them, life begins with a struggle - heart implants and surgeries that could change their fate are very expensive. The cost of one implant sometimes reaches 134,000 hryvnias, which is an unaffordable and catastrophic amount for an ordinary Ukrainian family.

That's why the dobro.ua platform, in partnership with the Hearts of the Future charity foundation, has been supporting the national programme, the Save the Heart project, for more than 11 years, which aims to unite around the problem and provide support to children with congenital heart disease thanks to caring people and companies.

Svitlana has been a part of this project since 2016 and has been doing her best to make sure that there are more children saved. And thanks to Svitlana's like-minded people, more than a hundred children from all over Ukraine who needed heart surgery have been saved.  Svitlana also comes up with and implements fundraisers for other socially important charitable projects.

In this special section, we have collected all the initiatives that were created and supported thanks to Svitlana.
