The project ‘Children's Hope: Helping Children with Burns. Laparoscopic stand’, dobro.ua

Together with Kyivstar, we continue our important mission to help little Ukrainians who have suffered from burn injuries.
As part of the initiative, on 28 August, the children's burns unit of St. Nicholas Hospital of the 1st Territorial Medical Association of Lviv received a RUBINA 3D 4K video system for paediatric surgery, which allows for laparoscopic operations on internal organs with maximum safety thanks to 3D visualisation.
The equipment was put into operation on 2 September 2024 and is already saving hundreds of children.
The equipment was purchased with the help of a second charitable grant from Kyivstar. The cost of the equipment is UAH 9,008,692.

Project ‘Prostheses for the Unbroken’, CF "Medical Innovations"

Together with the team of the best specialists of the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Centre, which operates on the basis of the First Medical Unit of Lviv, we continue to help our defenders restore their physical capabilities and regain their faith in their strength. 

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Medical Innovations Foundation purchased and transferred to the UNBROKEN rehabilitation centre components for the manufacture of prostheses, as well as paid for the work of specialists in the manufacture and installation of prostheses for a total of UAH 16,174,386. Thanks to the assistance provided, 16 defenders received bionic prostheses from January to August 2024!

The Prostheses for Invincibles project has already raised over 37 million hryvnias! Bionic prostheses have been fitted to 28 defenders.

Together we will continue to do everything possible to return the lost opportunities to our heroes. The project is ongoing. 

Project ‘Support with IT education for children who lost one or both parents as a result of the war in Ukrainе’, dobro.ua 

In the spring of 2024, 340 children who lost one or both parents as a result of the war in Ukraine will start free classes at the GoITeens online IT academy. Children will learn the basics of programming, game development, design, iPad drawing, etc. The programme is designed to last for 6 months in an online format.

For this purpose, 47 children were provided with Lenovo V15 G4 AMN laptops. 

As of the end of August, 64 children have already completed the course, and another 276 are continuing their studies.

The project, which will allow children to receive a quality education and open up great professional prospects, is being implemented thanks to a grant of UAH 5.8 million from Kyivstar.

The project ‘Comfortable housing for displaced persons’, CF UKRAINIAN FRIENDS FOUNDATION

Leo States Ukraine is a modular shelter located in the village of Khorosno, Lviv region, providing free housing for those internally displaced persons whose homes were destroyed by Russian aggression or are under occupation.

The contributions of our benefactors have made it possible to arrange a safe and comfortable place to live. In particular, the funds raised through the dobro.ua platform in the amount of UAH 57,729 were used to purchase household appliances - refrigerators, air conditioners, microwaves, kettles, etc. - and to pay for maintenance.

Project ‘Treat Ukrainian Business Women to a Retreat’, CSR Development Centre.

To create a space for personal and professional growth, the CSR Development Centre has organised and is conducting a retreat for women entrepreneurs. The event takes place on 13-16 August 2024 in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Thanks to the amount of UAH 52,635 raised on dobro.ua, the accommodation of 12 participants and 2 organisers was paid for and materials for the event were purchased. The retreat programme includes physical and mental practices aimed at relieving stress, developing internal potential and increasing productivity. The trainings facilitate the exchange of experience, support in business matters and planning of further steps.
