Adelina is a profoundly premature girl born at 28 weeks of pregnancy. After birth, she suffered a stage 4 brain hemorrhage, which resulted in meningitis, hydrocephalus and sepsis. Subsequently, Adelina underwent 4 brain surgeries: she had an Omaya reservoir installed, then a shunt, then an external drainage due to pound infection and another shunt.

For 3 months, the girl did not breathe on her own, and she had severe seizures. From birth to the present day, for 1 year and 3 months, Adelina has been on tube feeding. The girl can hold her head up and sit with support, but she still does not crawl, stand or walk. She has developmental delays, hydrocephalus and atactic cerebral palsy (with impaired balance and coordination). Adelina needs constant care from her mother and rehabilitation.

We really want this little girl, who has been through so much, to be able to move freely and feel no pain. We are starting to raise funds for a new rehabilitation course for Adelina and ask for your compassion and support!
