Our Parents’ Team will run for Dacha, so that every family has an opportunity to be together during treatment. Help our families in these hard times! Your contributions are bricks to the New Dacha, where children get well faster and their life begins again!

When your child is diagnosed with cancer, you need time to get it together, to stop panic and start a fight. The life of the whole family, elder and younger children’s, your spouse’s and your own life – is changing radically. When the budget of treatment in Kyiv is 100 times bigger than the income of your family – such thing as renting an apartment for this period is out of the question.
Six months, often a year or even longer, the family members don’t see each other, except for those moments when they can come for a visit at weekends because overnight stay require additional money that can be used to buy medication.
It is an extremely terrible period both physically and psychologically. You are an adult and you understand all the possible risks, it depends on you how the child will go this road to survival or will be able to endure hard treatment. It depends on your family whether other children will pass this test without serious psychological trauma because one of the parents is always with ill child and it seems to them that they are forgotten.
Dacha is a gulp of hope for us. For a week we receive chemotherapy a week and the next week we can live for free in a large private house, in a separate room. The family can come for a visit. It is extremely important because then they understand that they are together in this.
