I’m running so that Andiiko lives without pain! Alexander Sokolenko

Alexander Sokolenko is an air traffic controller of the UkSATSE enterprise and an amateur athlete. "This fall I’m running to help five-year-old Andryusha defeat epilepsy. Running has long been an integral part of my life, and over the course of a year I go through many races and marathons. Running has something in common with my favorite job: to achieve the optimal result, you need to plan your actions very clearly, taking into account the situation, conditions, and initial data. Weather conditions, the state of health and the emotional state of the crew – there are no important components in planning a flight and a run. 

A diet and medication are also strictly planned in the treatment of epilepsy by keto-therapy. The patient has to undergo a lot of research so that the doctors select the nutritional plan for him; doses of products are weighed on very accurate scales; the slightest changes in the results of analyzes and the encephalogram are taken into account. Correct the data and, accordingly, treatment needs 3-4az per year.

Very effective therapy, but also very expensive. And this is the only method that helps 5-year-old Andryusha Moskalenko fight epilepsy. Together with a team of like-minded people, we are fleeing this fall so that Andrei continues on his path to victory over the disease.
