Charity Star Kurazh 2025: CF “RAYON NUMBER 1”

 The aim of the project was to provide basic conditions for internally displaced families with children who lost their homes due to the war. As part of the participation of the charitable organisation ‘RAYON NUMBER 1”’ in the ‘Zirkovyi Kurazh 2025’ project, funding was received to purchase furniture and household appliances for 10 houses built specifically for such families in the village of Germanivka, Kyiv region.

Preparation for the project began at the end of 2024, and the main purchases of furniture and household appliances took place in July 2025. The assembly and installation of all purchased items is currently underway. Thanks to the funds received, 10 separate residential houses with an area of 61 to 136 m² were fully furnished.

In each house, according to the beneficiaries' own furniture and household appliances, the following were purchased and installed:

 Furniture: beds, mattresses, wardrobes, shelves, wardrobe systems, bedside tables, desks and chairs, kitchen sets, dining tables and chairs, sinks and cabinets, shelves;

 Appliances: refrigerators, washing machines, hobs with ovens, cooker hoods, towel dryers, stoves.

 Within the framework of the project, 62 people received assistance, including:

 • Women under 60: 13

 • Men under 60: 9

 • Children under 17: 33

 • Women over 60: 4

 • Men over 60: 4

 • People with disabilities: 3

Each family received a separate house with everything necessary for a comfortable life. The project was implemented taking into account the needs of families with children, elderly people and people with disabilities.

The village of Germanivka was chosen as the location for restoring dignity and security because it combines tranquillity and nature while being located near Kyiv, which allows residents to have access to medical care, schools, and infrastructure.

Thanks to participation in Zirkovyi Kurazh and the support of thousands of donors, the project not only provided decent living conditions for families with children who had lost everything, but also gave them hope for a new stage in their lives, away from the front line and uncertainty. This furniture and household appliances will not just be a temporary solution, but a real sense of home, where children's laughter can be heard again and a feeling of care lives on.
