Ivan managed to survive after a two-week exacerbation of the disease, but the seizures caused great damage to the child's brain. He had to learn to talk and walk again. Ivan began to recover quite quickly. But, unfortunately, the seizures returned again. The mother's struggle for her son's health continues to this day.

War, unfortunately, is a hard test for everyone. Especially for children with epilepsy. Ivan was no exception. At the beginning of the full-scale war, under constant shelling and fear of occupation, his mother and Ivan decided to leave Kharkiv. The boy took the move from his home very hard. The number of seizures increased significantly, and his psycho-emotional state deteriorated. It was necessary to urgently change the therapy and increase the dosage of all antiepileptic drugs. The money for this was sorely lacking, and his mother asked for help. For the past six months, Ivan has been taking the medicines purchased with charitable assistance. The boy's condition has improved, but has not yet stabilized. Anticonvulsant therapy provides him with a chance for life, so it should not be stopped under any circumstances.
