Denys was born prematurely, at 35 weeks of pregnancy. From the very first moments of his life, he fought for every breath, being on a ventilator. After a month in the hospital, his mother learned about the chromosomal pathology, and later – about brain damage and epilepsy. At 9 months, Denys was diagnosed with spastic tetraparesis.

Despite all the difficulties, rehabilitation began when he was one year old. The first results were inspiring: Denys began holding his head up. Since then, they started visiting rehabilitation centers, working with speech therapists, pedagogues, swimming in the pool, and undergoing hippotherapy and bobath therapy.

Today, Denys is 6 years old. He understands spoken language, tries to express his thoughts with sounds, but still cannot sit independently or speak. His mother is raising him alone, without the support of her husband. The only income is the state disability pension. Without your help, the family will not be able to continue treatment.
