Danila’s mother is 17 years old. Because of the complexity, a child was born as a 7-month-old baby and can not breathe by himself. Now the baby is breathing with the help of ventilator. The expensive therapy is conducting every day. 1 day of treatment costs 200 UAH. How long the baby has to lie under the apparatus the doctors do not know. The baby’s father is a logger. Young family does not have savings. And all that was possible to collect by family and friends – has been spent. Young family, Olga and Nikita, waited for a baby in early February 2014. The pregnancy was well and no complications were. In the morning of 20 December she went to a regular examination and the result of it was positive. Nobody suspected for prematurity. But that night Olga felt sharp pain. Worried about a child's health, Olga and Nikita called an ambulance. Woman was taken to hospital. It turned out that the girl went into labor. And little Danila was born on 21 December at 14:20. Having been born, the boy didn’t breath and doctors took measures on baby's breathing. Somehow running baby’s breathing, he was connected to the ventilator. But, Danila’s condition remained critical and at night he was delivered to the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital in Kharkiv. Danila was made two expensive injections, for 3500 UAH per each and then he was connected to the apparatus. The conclusion was confirmed there – through a short cord boy didn’t receive from his mother all necessary for the development. Little Danila was left alone as his mother was stayed at the maternity hospital. Nikita, baby’s father, every morning takes a train to Kharkov to visit a baby. But to see him is not always succeed as the baby is very weak. Having been discharged from the maternity hospital, Olga went to Kharkov with the hope to see her son. But because of her slight indisposition she was not allowed to see son. It is hard to imagine how Olga feels herself difficult. A girl cries day and night and dreams of one thing - her baby would soon recover, and she could be near him again.

At the hospital Danilko slowly began to feed, starting from 7 mg then more a week for 25 mg. Doctors occasionally disconnect him from the system. Baby breathes very difficult independently. Meanwhile, there is a progress. On average, a day treatment costs 200 UAH. How long a boy will lie under the apparatus, doctors do not know, maybe a month, maybe two. When Daniel could do without the device, it expects at least a two-week rehabilitation.

The baby’s father is a logger. For the time the child spent in the hospital, the family spent almost the entire monthly salary and exhausted all possible sources of money. How to continue son’s treatment they do not know.
