In March of this year, a woman from Odessa, Vladislava, was ill with Kovid. The virus was overcome, but the insidious disease caused complications in the kidneys. During the tomography, the doctors, radiologists, discovered a neoplasm in the liver in the girl. Since then, Vladislava has been fighting a desperate struggle for her health and a normal life.

The results of histology showed that Vladislava has a very rare cancer that is not typical for women of her age. The oncologist noted with surprise that in 23 years of his practice he first encountered such a case. Vladislava has adenocarcinoma of the small intestine. Then, in March, surgeons performed an operation to remove the tumor.

At the moment when we write these lines, Vladislava is again at the Kiev Cancer Institute undergoing the 9th "chemistry". Every two weeks, the parents take the girl to Kiev for the next therapy. How many of them are still ahead is unknown. For three days Vlada is given drugs and is sent home. The girl's body reacts badly to the introduction of "chemistry", she feels bad, gets tired quickly, suffocates. But morally Vladislava is very strong. She is active, believes in her recovery and makes plans for the future. Her parents, many friends from Odessa and her young man, who comes to her for all the procedures and supports Vlad in every possible way, help her in this. It's hard to believe, but at home, in a city apartment, two cats, a labrador dog, a parrot, a canary, a turtle and an aquarium with fish are waiting for the girl.

And there are encouraging results! MRI after the 8th "chemotherapy" showed a positive dynamics of treatment. The doctors are very pleased with the results. The drug Avastin, which is administered to Vlada with each therapy, helps the body to cope with the tumor. The girl's parents, family and friends help her as best they can. But the cost of drugs, examinations and analyzes exceeds their capabilities. For each visit to Kyiv, she need to prepare 50-60 thousand UAH. And so every two weeks. These are unaffordable amounts of the family, so we are starting to raise funds for the girl's treatment.

Vladislava graduated from Odessa Mechnikov University, but so far she is devoting her life to work outside her specialty. Her hobby and new profession is a make-up artist. Vladislava practices this work even now, in between courses of treatment. As far as her strength allows, of course. But she is full of energy, faith in the future and dreams of opening her own studio. Vladislava is infinitely grateful to everyone who supports her! She cannot cope without the help of caring people.
