For those who have the hardest time

The charity canteen is one of the activities carried out by our Charitable Foundation to help and support those who are currently having the hardest time, who are on the sidelines of life and far below the poverty line. We are talking about people who are not forced to ask for help today of their own free will, because this is their only chance for survival.

Old and infirm, lonely and sick, those who either have no relatives who have at least partially cared for such people, or are ashamed to ask because they are not sure they will not be refused… Most often those in need in old age or being terminally ill and incapacitated, receive from the state a meager, miserable pension, for which it is even impossible to buy all the necessary drugs for a month, not to mention otherwise. Often such people simply go hungry. And it is good when there are compassionate acquaintances, neighbors, someone else who knows about their existence and circumstances and is not indifferent to their plight, but it is clear that the help of strangers is not constant and you do not have to rely on it.

 About 30 such disadvantaged people come to us every day to eat, get some food with them or wait at home for our volunteers, who will come with lunch and a kind word of support and consolation.

Thanks to the funds raised earlier, including with the help of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange, we managed to at least minimally equip a small room where we receive meals and meals for our wards, so that it does not happen in the cold season right on the street. However, there are not enough normal, normal hygienic conditions for this room, heating and some other necessary repairs, so that the conditions for the distribution and reception of food, as well as just for the winter stay of these people, would be somewhat acceptable. Often in the winter it is the only place where such needy people can spend some time in warmth and comfort.

Therefore, we appeal to all concerned to help with the purchase of the most necessary repair materials to bring the premises of the Charity Dining Room to a minimum normal condition for staying and feeding old lonely and sick people, so that they can come to a warm and dry place every day and get a hot lunch. and a good word from those who do not care.
