Help for babies in three maternity hospitals

They are born every 15th child in Ukraine. This is a huge statistical figure that knocks on the door of every fifteenth family in Ukraine. Premature birth is a huge problem of our present, and no doctor can 100% foresee premature births in women. Children born with underdeveloped life systems are completely dependent on the logistics of the equipment in the hospital. Their lives are only in the hands of doctors, who, unfortunately, cannot solve the problem of under-equipped hospitals with life saving devices. You and I come to the rescue!

Changes in a newborn baby's environment, seemingly minimal, can lead to profound temporary or permanent damage in the body of a premature baby. This has given rise to the need for careful monitoring and control of the intensity of physical factors affecting the immature infant. Due to increased intangible water loss associated with immaturity of renal function, extremely low birth weight infants require increased fluid supply (intravenous infusions or in some cases intra arterial infusions through the umbilical artery).Infusion therapy is the main technique it is through which children receive medicine, food and all medical supplies necessary for salvation.

Premature infants have a higher need for fluids than premature infants. That is why infusion therapy devices are a must in any department of post-intensive care, rehabilitation and nursing of premature infants. Infusion machines are devices that are used for intravenous infusion when high accuracy and safety are required. The device allows you to adjust the speed of administration of the desired dose using a special electronic system, which is built into it. The electronics make it possible to administer the medicine in several ways, at any time, taking into account different factors. Factors are taken into account: time, the device turns on at the programmed time; the weight of the baby, when only the weight is injected, the device itself selects the necessary dosage. With the help of the infusion machine it is possible to administer several drugs simultaneously, it is possible to program the order of administration of drugs, as well as the combination of administration. The invention of such a convenient device made the work of physicians more convenient and efficient.

Infusomats help to accurately and precisely observe the required dosage of medications. The device, thanks to the port of the computer interface, can memorize previously performed procedures. The machine is equipped with an "Alarm" signal, which turns on at the end of the procedure or regime, as well as in case of any problems. Unfortunately, the government does not provide the hospital with the necessary amount of equipment, so we appeal to those who care for help.

The aim of our project is to buy a modern infusion therapy infusion machine for 3 hospitals – Khmelnytsky regional hospital, Kamyanets-Podilskyi perinatal center and Kharkiv Regional Children's Clinical Hospital №1. Here, in spite of the war, they save the lives of prematurely born babies every day. Support our project and give children a chance for a healthy future!
