Let's help Artem to stop the disease

Artem is one of the young patients of the oncohematological department of the Kharkiv ODB № 1. He is a little over 4 years old. The boy is active and cheerful. Last year  he started going to kindergarten. Artem just started to get used to it, he made friends. But the quarantine began... And before the new year the boy fell ill with a cold.

The cold was treated, but the parents noticed the strange things happening to the child at night: the son began to snore. Every night the snoring intensified and the mother turned to the family doctor with the problem, who redirected Artemka to the ENT. Lor discovered swelling of the tonsils and a mass on one and sent him to hospital 30 for examination. There they took a biopsy and after the conclusion of the boy was sent to the Department of Pediatric Oncology in Kharkiv hospital. Artem's diagnosis: high-grade extranodal non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma  of high malignancy...

So the boy began his hospital days. He is unusual and incomprehensible why he needs to be in a closed room all the time, where there is no access to anyone except dad; where instead of interesting exciting games – a hospital ward, medical procedures, a tough regime and a clear daily routine by the minute.

The Malakhov family is ordinary: dad is a handyman, mom works as a salesman in a grocery store. The family also has a child, a girl. She is disabled, on special meals, homeschooled and constantly in need of help. Previously, parents worked for a week: mom for one week, dad for one week. But now everything has become more complicated. Mom continues to work, dad is in the hospital with her son, the little sister is learning to manage on her own. This family cannot cope with treatment without the help of caring people.

For further treatment, Artem needs medications: 3 packs of Heptral 500 mg №20, 20 packs of Endoxan 200 mg for the total amount of 18 097 UAH. Parents are forced to turn to caring people for help with a request: help save their son's life! They hope for help and support, sincerely believe that the world is not without good people!
