Help Masha to fight hepatoblastoma!

Bright, smiling Masha is a little fighter of Onco-Hematology department of the Mykolayiv Oblast Children's Hospital. Childhood for that child - it's the years of struggle for life.

Masha is the first child in the family. The girl is very sociable, easy to contact and very athletic. She and minutes can not sit still, she is cycling and rollerblading, and she dont miss a single horizontal bar. She grew a healthy child up to two years. And when she was two years old, the parents noticed an increase in the tummy. In January 2012, the mother with Masha turned to the specialists. After necessary surveys doctors diagnosed the girl: hepatoblastoma left lobe of liver 4 degrees with metastases in the lungs.

Masha has already suffered four operations. The first operation was very complex, during which the doctors removed the left lobe of the liver and a huge tumor weighing 885 grams! During the operation, Masha's heart stopped 2 times, parents could only pray for her... then had surgery to remove part of the left and right lung metastases, blood transfusion, postoperative chemotherapy... How baby has suffered and endured - it is difficult to describe in words... Then almost two years of remission. But the insidious disease had manifested itself. In April this year, it was another surgery to remove metastases in the right lung.

The doctors prescribed chemotherapy drug. The treatment is long complicated and expensive. This little girl finished the second chemotherapy course. She feels good, very active than happy ones. She was terribly boring to sit in the House, and at every opportunity she runs out into the street. Baby wants to run, jump, ride rolikah- because the street is already summer and the sun gently warms. But Masha is necessary to continue the treatment. The little girl needs of medication "Irinotecan" for the following two courses of chemotherapy: for total ammount 19 207 UAH.

For the family Vasyanovich is a big amount. The father of the girl is soldier, the mother is housewife. Besides Masha, the family has two childrens: 3-year-old Miroslava and the little Angelica, which recently celebrated its half-year. The grandmother is in the hospital with Masha .
