Let's help Misha move forward

      Due to epileptic seizures, Mishko from Dnipro lost the ability to speak and understand spoken language. He has been in remission for seven years, and regular rehabilitation is helping him to regain the skills he lost.
      In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ and the charitable aid operator, the Charitable Foundation ‘POMAGAEM’, dated 31 August 2020, and Supplementary Agreement No. 21. 388 of 22 July 2026, the project ‘Let’s Help Mykhailo Move Forward’ was launched on the website of the International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ (UCE) – dobro.ua – with the aim of raising funds to cover the cost of Mykhailo Lavrinenko’s treatment.
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ – dobro.ua – to cover part of the boy’s rehabilitation at the ‘Ioann Centre’. Therefore, in accordance with letter No. 320 dated 28 July 2026, we received the raised sum of 2,440.00 UAH (two thousand four hundred and forty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the Fund’s account and continued the fundraising campaign on the dobro.ua platform.
      Thanks to the funds received, in July this year we paid for part of Mykhailo’s rehabilitation at the Charitable Organisation ‘Rehabilitation Centre, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION NAMED AFTER SAINT JOHN THE RIGHTEOUS’’, totalling 2,440.00 UAH (two thousand four hundred and forty hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      From 1 to 16 July 2026, Mykhailo undertook part of a rehabilitation course at the ‘St John’s Centre’. He particularly enjoyed the sensory integration sessions. He attended them with enthusiasm, interacted actively with the specialists, and it is in this area that the family has seen positive results.
      Mykhailo’s summer holidays were active and enjoyable. His family spent a lot of time with him outdoors, going for walks and visiting a health resort, where they were able to relax and recuperate. He loves children very much, so he enjoyed spending time with them and was delighted to chat with them.
      His mum is sincerely grateful to all the donors and followers of dobro.ua for their care and support: “Thanks to your kindness, Mykhailo is able to undergo the necessary rehabilitation, develop and take his small but very important steps forward.”
      At present, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child’s needs; the project is still raising funds.
